Appreciation

I always believe that in order for one person to do good, he needs to be motivated. This can be through his inspirations, principles, standards, hobbies or by his will. Every good deed deserves to be appreciated but only few minds are open to see what is really happening.

Take for instance, I do not really have the luxury of deep and colorful vocabulary that one good writer must have. As observed, I only use simple English that is honestly because these are all I have but whenever my posts are appreciated, it boosts up my confidence to the extent of wanting to do more.

Girls dress good, wear jewelries, put up make ups because they want to look good and be appreciated. Their confidence come from the appreciations they receive and not from the sole effect of beauty of how they look. No matter how good they look but as long as no one approves of that, confidence will not grow. It is impossible. It is awkward if she will insist she is beautiful while most around her do not see her that way. That hurts her self-esteem.

The power of appreciation to create something in a person is simply extraordinary. One simple "GOOD JOB" from a boss will make his employee do better jobs the next time around. One sweet "I LOVE YOU" from a child will make his parents so happy and even braver to strive more for the family. One heartfelt "THANK YOU" from someone dear is enough for him to know he is doing the right thing.

I myself do not really understand why there are lots out there who do not see that the world works better this way. Pressuring someone to have a better output will make the outcome worse. Not being grateful to the people that care for you will result to you being alone in the long run. Their minds are consumed by dark, unreasonable, improbable ideas. A good seed will never grow into a bad tree. In order to gain better, you have to invest good.

Take time to appreciate things around you. What if your friends were not there when you needed them the most? What if you grow up fatherless like me? What if tricycle were not invented? The simplest of them all deserve to be appreciated. They exist because they play a vital role in your life whether you will not believe to death that they really do.

Until you learn to accept that to have a better environment, better people, better relationships, better results, we need to appreciate. This looks like a cliche but that's my point here. To put in your mind: APPRECIATION!

Just try to forgive and appreciate. You will have better smiles. Just try.

Well said Von! One of my favorite thoughts in Desiderata is how we see things; despite of life's brokenness,it is still a beautiful world. Everybody needs to be appreciated,,,it is an instinct motivation to do better and even the best. I always cling to my belief, especially when I am in a depression mode that if we see things at a different perspective even against all odds, the world has still a chance! Life is as mysterious as the ocean,,,it depends in us on how we value life itself. Man by nature is so difficult to be pleased because everybody has its own standard of satisfaction but I do believe that even in a simpliest act of goodness that is appreciated, life is fulfilling! It is indeed a beautiful life. Padayon sa imong kaayo Von,sometimes I can't just stop myself wondering,"
God bless, more blessings!

Very nice thoughts. The world is better for having this view out there. Thanks for sharing. Check out my article on the merits taking more breaks from work. I'm sure we can all appreciate that!

Good thinking. I agree for sure. If nobody appreciates it, why do it?

When we actually stop and acknowledge the wonder and abundance of the life we are living, when we are thankful for it, we shine. When we focus on the good stuff we have, we feel good, we feel happy and then it’s so much easier to trust ourselves and focus on the good stuff we’re headed for. #admiringyoumore
