who lies? and who don't?

artest defending pierce in a game Celtics hosting the Rockets. artest here was still a Rocket! now, he is a Laker.

new nba season is fast approaching. lots of nba teams are now starting their training for the upcoming season. there are lots of changes in the rosters of the teams, but amongst the best roster upgrades a
re the Celtics, Magic, Cavaliers and Lakers. these four teams were the top4 best teams last year.

the celtics acquired daniels from pacers and perennial all-star rasheed wallace from the pistons. daniels is expected to give support for pierce and wallace can add depth in the post for the celtics. but as for them, their starting five (perkins, garnett, pierce, allen, rondo) will remain the same, that means, daniels and wallace will start seating on the bench. pierce said that, if thet will stay healthy, no doubt the celtics will win it all and gain their 18th title.

lakers traded ariza for artest. artest is once an all star in 2004. artest is considered as one of the best defenders of the decade. he will take the position of ariza in the starting quintet for the Lakers (bynum, gasol, artest, bryant, fisher). Lakers are the reigning NBA champions and they said that they are a team to beat in the NBA this coming season. expect more from bryant.

cavaliers now have the big aristotle, the diesel, the man of steel, shaq o'neal. o'neal has four rings in his fingers and nba analysts said that with james in the court with
shaq, no doubt that shaq can have his 5th ring if the chemistry is right for them. o'neal is expected to start for the cavs (o'neal, varejao, james, parker, williams) to add to their roster, they acquired leon powe from celtics, anthony parker and jamario moon from the raptors. expect the best cavs this year.

magic, what can we say? a surprise last season, defeated the title faves cavs in six games in the playoffs. now that they have VC in their line up, but giving up turkoglu and alston, magic remains as the beast in the east! howard is on the peak of his career! with the all-time record for most votes in an nba all star balloting, howard is expected to carry that momentum all thru out the year. their first quintet is expected to be (howard, lewis, pietrus, carter, nelson). nelson is fresh from his all star selection last season.

there are some remaining questions here:

-can ai bring the memphis back in the playoffs?

-which will be better, chandler-west-paul, or okafor-west-paul?

-can roy prove that blazers mature enough?

-can nash and amare bring back the calibre of the suns?

-can the bobcats appear in the postseason? especially in their new roster upgrades?

-can rose be the leader of his team?

NBA SEASON 2010, i am waiting!
